Greenwich Mean Time (Dublin)

Ireland uses Greenwich Mean Time in winter and Irish Standard Time (IST, UTC+1) in summer. The Irish Stock Exchange (Euronext Dublin) operates on GMT/IST. Ireland's timezone is shared with the UK, making cross-Irish Sea business seamless. The country's literary heritage (Joyce, Yeats, Wilde, Beckett) and musical traditions are celebrated globally, and Dublin's vibrant pub culture operates on late schedules typical of the GMT timezone. Northern Ireland, part of the UK, uses the same timezone, which has facilitated cross-border cooperation since the Good Friday Agreement.
